• Canada’s Wonderland WinterFest

  Less than 10 minutes from Upper West Side, Vaughan

  Nov. 18 - Dec. 31

  3pm - 9pm

  Canada’s Wonderland in Vaughan launched its first-ever WinterFest in 2019. With the unforeseen events of COVID-19, it remained closed until now. For the next month, the amusement park will be lit up as a magical winter wonderland with festive treats, live shows, carollers, and more. There is even a map and planner available to help navigate the event space. Tickets are on sale from $29.00 and can either purchased online or at the gate.

• Merry Marketplace

  Richmond Green Sports Centre & Park

  Every Saturday in December before Christmas

  4pm - 9pm

  This is Richmond Hill’s first-ever local market that will be taking place every Saturday from 4pm to 9pm until December 18th. Located near our communities at Observatory Hill, Bayview Gates, and OakRidge Meadows, the space will be transformed into a holiday village with local artisans, live entertainment, and tasty food concession stands. Once the sun goes down, the streets will be lit up with community displays including a special a meet and greet with Santa Claus. In support of the local food bank, the committee members will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated.

• Distillery Winter Village

  This one is worth the trip into the city! The historic Distillery District has officially re-opened its annual Winter Village this year featuring over 65 holiday merchants, restaurants, and cafes. This year’s event is sponsored by Dior, and features their gorgeously sparkling, 51-foot designer Christmas tree. Enjoy free entry on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 9pm and on Fridays and weekends before 4pm. • Winterfest

  Riverwalk Commons, Newmarket

  Saturday Feb. 19

  Newmarket’s Winterfest will take place on Family Day weekend in its historic downtown village. Located just 20 minutes from our Bondhead community in Bradford and just 10 minutes from Anchor Woods in Holland Landing, family and friends can partake in indoor and outdoor activities, visiting seasonal vendors, and more. Afterwards, visit the micro-breweries, restaurants and boutique shops located on Main Street.
